02The starting point
Could a budget worth less than 10% of the product price validate a new market?
The client has manufactured premium outdoor wellness products for more than ten years. The product was proven in other markets. In Romania there was nothing yet: no awareness, no audiences, no local channel to reach buyers.
And this is not an impulse purchase. A hot tub worth around 9,400 RON gets weighed, compared, discussed at home and, often, seen in person before anyone pays.
Product value versus testing budget
Thirty lei per day does not sound like a market-expansion budget. That is precisely why it made a good test.
We did not need millions of impressions. We needed genuine buying signals.
03The system PMC built
We did not simply launch ads. We built the path from interest to the sales conversation.
Every part had a job, a signal we watched and a link to the next one. Select a stage to see what it did in the system.
01 Positioning
- Job
- Build perceived value: nature, craftsmanship, relaxation, at-home wellness, all year round.
- Signal watched
- Which message angles produce inquiries, not just likes.
- What could fail
- A premium product sold on price and discounts.
- What it shaped
- Creative directions and the offer.
02 Creative
- Job
- Stop the right person and make the product desirable before the price comes up.
- Signal watched
- CTR and cost per lead for each direction.
- What could fail
- Beautiful images that bring no inquiries.
- What it shaped
- Which variants get budget and what gets produced next.
03 Meta Ads
- Job
- Put the message in front of tested and Lookalike audiences on a small budget, without waste.
- Signal watched
- Cost per lead by audience and placement.
- What could fail
- Budget spread across too many directions at once.
- What it shaped
- Concentrating budget where inquiries come from.
04 Lead form
- Job
- Capture demand inside Meta and ask when the person wants to buy and what they can spend.
- Signal watched
- How many inquiries arrive, and with what stated intent.
- What could fail
- Lots of forms filled in by the merely curious.
- What it shaped
- The form questions, iterated version by version.
05 Purchase intent
- Job
- Separate people who want to buy now from people who are just looking.
- Signal watched
- Stated purchase timing and budget.
- What could fail
- Treating every contact the same way.
- What it shaped
- The order and tone of follow-up.
06 Sales conversation
- Job
- Turn an inquiry into a visit, a deposit and an order, with sales scripts prepared by PMC.
- Signal watched
- Product visits, deposits, orders.
- What could fail
- Good leads lost to slow or improvised follow-up.
- What it shaped
- Which messages and offers deserve a push.
07 Optimization
- Job
- Turn data into the next decision: new creative, a new form, budget moved.
- Signal watched
- Performance by creative, audience and form.
- What could fail
- Repeating what only looked like it worked.
- What it shaped
- The next cycle of creative and campaigns.
32 creative assets, built for testing
Creative was not decoration. It was produced as a testing system: distinct message directions, Meta-native formats, variants that could be compared with each other.
Message directions from the campaigns (Romanian)
- „Luxul se mută în grădina ta”
- „Propria ta experiență spa acasă”
- „Relaxare premium, în orice anotimp”
The strategy did not depend primarily on discounts. It depended on value.

08FAQ
Questions about this case study
How did PMC generate more than 210 inquiries for a premium hot tub?
Through Meta Ads: value-led positioning, 32 creative assets produced for testing, tested and Lookalike audiences, Meta lead forms that captured purchase timing and budget, and continuous optimization based on campaign data.
What does the roughly 148x ROAS mean?
Associated launch-week revenue (approximately 31,200 RON, from three sales) divided by Meta ad spend in the same week (approximately 210 RON). It is a launch-week result, not the ROAS of the whole campaign.
Are all 210+ inquiries qualified leads?
No. They are people who asked about buying through the form. 51.7% of the 209 inquiries in the consolidated dataset said they wanted to buy as soon as possible, but stated intent is not automatically a sale.
Can you sell a product worth about 9,400 RON on 30 RON a day?
Here the budget worked as a market test: it brought genuine inquiries and, in the first week, three documented sales. Results depend on the product, the positioning and how inquiries are followed up. We do not present it as a guarantee.
What can PMC build for a manufacturer entering a new market?
A managed acquisition system run by ProMotion Creative or, through Incubator SIM by ProMotion Consulting, in-house infrastructure and an employee trained to operate it.
