This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies the website promotioncreative.ro uses, why, for how long, and how you can give, change or withdraw your consent. It complements our Privacy policy, which sets out how we process personal data and what rights you have.
The controller is PROMOTION PERFORMANCE S.R.L. (trading as ProMotion Creative), tax ID (CUI) 52722951, registered office Str. Someșului nr. 4, ap. 1, Târgu Mureș, Mureș County, Romania, email motion@promotioncreative.ro.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies include the browser's local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), pixels and scripts that send information about a visit to an analytics or advertising service.
In this policy, “cookies” refers to all of these technologies.
2. How you give and withdraw consent
On your first visit, the site shows a banner where you can accept or decline analytics and advertising cookies.
- Before you choose, and if you decline, we do not load Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel, Apollo.io or our own analytics.
- We only use the strictly necessary technologies described in section 3.
- Your choice applies to the whole promotioncreative.ro domain, including the presentation and landing pages hosted on it.
You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. If you withdraw consent, we delete the analytics and advertising cookies set on this domain and the identifiers used by our own analytics, then reload the page without them.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
3. Strictly necessary technologies
These are needed for the site to work and to respect your choice. They don't require consent and are not used for analytics or advertising.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| pmc_cookie_consent | ProMotion Creative | Remembers whether you accepted or declined cookies | localStorage | Until you change it or clear your browser data |
| pmc-chunk-reload | ProMotion Creative | Reloads the page once if, after a site update, your browser still has an old version | sessionStorage | Until the tab is closed |
| pmc-error-reload | ProMotion Creative | The same, for display errors | sessionStorage | Until the tab is closed |
4. Analytics (only with consent)
These help us understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, where visitors come from and which content is useful.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| pmc_vid | ProMotion Creative (own analytics) | A random identifier that tells a new visitor from a returning one | localStorage | Until you clear your browser data or withdraw consent |
| pmc_sess | ProMotion Creative (own analytics) | Identifier of the current session | localStorage | The session ends after 30 minutes of inactivity |
| _ga | Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics 4) | Distinguishes visitors, for aggregated statistics | Cookie | 2 years |
| _ga_HVVQ7ZY55Z | Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics 4) | Keeps the session state | Cookie | 2 years |
Our own analytics (ProMotion Creative). Once you accept, the site records on our server: the pages visited and their titles, the source of the visit and UTM parameters, the browser's language and time zone, screen size, scroll depth, sections viewed, clicks on links and buttons, starting a form and active time on the page. Your IP address is not stored in these records; it is only used in hashed form to limit abuse. The records are kept for 400 days and then deleted automatically.
5. Advertising and conversion measurement (only with consent)
These help us measure the results of our campaigns and show relevant ads to people who have visited the site.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Google Tag Manager (GTM-N9ZX66K4) | Google Ireland Limited | Loads the analytics and marketing tags we configure; it does not itself set tracking cookies | Script | — |
| _fbp | Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Meta Pixel) | Identifies the browser for ad measurement and remarketing | Cookie | 90 days |
| _fbc | Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Meta Pixel) | Stores the ad-click identifier when you arrive from a Meta ad | Cookie | 90 days |
| Apollo.io website tracker | Apollo.io (United States) | Identifies, at company level, the organisations whose networks visit the site (B2B prospecting), based on IP address and interactions with the site | Script and its own identifiers | According to the provider's policy |
Meta may link data collected through the Meta Pixel to your Meta account and use it under its own policy. For collecting and transmitting data through the Meta Pixel, ProMotion Creative and Meta may be joint controllers; Meta is responsible for its own further processing.
6. External services reached through links
Some buttons take you to external services, such as Calendly (to book a call) or LinkedIn. They are not loaded inside our pages; those services may use their own cookies only once you visit them, under their own policies.
The site's fonts are hosted on our own server, so displaying our pages does not send requests to Google Fonts.
7. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Google, Meta and Apollo.io may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. These transfers rely on the mechanisms provided by the GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (for certified providers) or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. See our Privacy policy for details.
8. Controlling cookies in your browser
As well as the options on our site, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings:
You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on and your Meta ad preferences.
Clearing the site's data in your browser also removes the choice you made in the banner, so the banner will appear again on your next visit.
9. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when we change the technologies used on the site or when the law changes. The tables above reflect the site's configuration on the date of the last update. The current version is published on this page, with the date of the last change.
10. Contact and complaints
For questions about cookies or your data, write to us at motion@promotioncreative.ro with the subject “Data protection”.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority, the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing – ANSPDCP (www.dataprotection.ro), or with the supervisory authority of the EU country where you live or work.
